I serve on the Board of Directors because I believe in the mission of The Bresee Foundation. I have lived in the Rampart district for most of my time in LA. I have walked these streets. I know these families. When I met the staff from Bresee I saw comrades who are in the trenches every day to see our neighborhood revitalized with the empowerment of tomorrow’s leaders, the youth of today. The simplicity of its mission and effectiveness of its commitments make this opportunity an easy choice. I am honored to serve with this team of extraordinary leaders and servants of this organization.

First Church of the Nazarene
I serve on the board of directors at Bresee for a number of reasons. For one, my Christian faith calls on me to serve others, especially those who have less opportunity and advantage than I. I believe that we are all responsible for the communities we create together, and that our communities are only as healthy and strong as our weakest member.
I also serve because I enjoy helping to make the lives of our kids and their families better. I don’t like suffering and want to do what I can to work against it. Bresee is a place full of life with great kids, staff and a wonderful members of our Board whom I get the chance to work with, play with, cry live…do life with. Most importantly, we nurture relationships that change lives!
