GRYD Case Manager

Reporting to the GRYD Director, the Case Manager maintains a caseload of Gang Reduction Youth Development (GRYD) model youth, ages 10-15, who are highly at-risk of joining crews/gangs following the GRYD Model of Practice. They are responsible for supervising their strategy team (composed of the Case Manager, Youth Advocates and the Family Counselor) and working with the Youth Advocates to implement all aspects of GRYD prevention model leading to positive outcomes for the youth and their family.
Director of Development

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Development is responsible for all facets of individual and institutional giving, including leading all current fundraising and development initiatives to reach and exceed Bresee’s annual fundraising goal, as well as developing new strategies to grow Bresee’s fundraising capacity. The Director of Development works closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to develop and implement a Fundraising Plan that includes short-term, medium-term and long-term strategies for major gifts, foundation and corporate support, annual giving, and fundraising events.
Primary Case Manager

Reporting to the GRYD Program Director, the Primary Case Manager works with GRYD model youth, ages 10-15, who are at low-risk of joining gangs following the GRYD Model of Practice. The Primary Case Manager works to implement all aspects of GRYD prevention model leading to positive outcomes for the youth and their family. They are primarily responsible for facilitating family meetings and progress on risk factor reduction as outlined in the GRYD Model of Practice.

Reporting to the Middle School Program Director, the Classroom Assistant, working in a team under a Classroom Instructor, is responsible for providing overall classroom management and academic assistance activities for a grade-specific classroom in Bresee’s afterschool program with a vision to positively impact youth in our neighborhood through academic support and character development.

Reporting to the Middle School Program Director, the Soccer Coach works with the BAM (Bresee Academy For Middle School) academic team to implement, supervise, and develop soccer teams with an emphasis on educational enrichment as part of the BAM afterschool program. The coach will be responsible for coaching BAM students in game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition. They will also motivate student athletes to develop an appreciation of the sport while providing leadership to the team, implementing and maintaining goals and expectations, and installing a code of conduct that mirrors Breese’s Academy for Middle School Pillars of Character Counts.
